Kathleen L. McNerney
PORTLAND – Kathleen L. McNerney, 93, formerly of Buxton and Portland passed away Thursday Aug. 28, 2025, at Prince Point Facility with her family by her side. She was born Jan. 4, 1932, in Portland the daughter of Charles and Constance Newcomb Seavey.
She attended Portland Schools. Kathleen was later employed at a nursery school, as a waitress for Deering Ice Cream, the Portland Jetport and for B & M Baked Beans.
Kathleen enjoyed motorcycle rides and going to dances.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward two sons, Larry and Ken.
Survivors include a son Edward L. McNerney Jr and Wife Laurie, a daughter Terri Ann Ricker, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Brooklawn Memorial Park Thursday Sept. 11, 2025 at 1 p.m.
Arrangements are entrusted to Dennett, Craig & Pate, 13 Portland Road, Bar Mills.
