Jane S. Weirich
LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, Md. – Jane S. Weirich, 75, passed away peacefully on Aug. 6, 2025, in Linthicum Heights, Md. Born June 10, 1950, in Pittsburgh, Pa., she dedicated her career to teaching at the elementary level, spending the majority of which at the former Longfellow Elementary in Brunswick. She was a devoted wife and mother, cherished by her husband and two children. She found joy in her walks with family, reading novels by her favorite authors, and listening to soothing music. Jane was predeceased by her husband, Richard C. Weirich and her parents, H. Donald and Emily Scott. She is survived by her sister, Mary Gamble (Gordon); her brothers Jim Scott (Paula) and John Scott (Teresa); and two children, Sarah Weirich (Morgan) of Baltimore, Md., and Joshua Weirich (Katya) of Newport News, Va.; as well as nieces, nephews, grandnephews, and in-laws.
A private memorial ceremony will celebrate her life.
