Church of the Midcoast will host its Next Gen Takeover Sunday, a special service where the spotlight shines on the next generation of leaders, at 10 a.m. on Aug. 31 at the church, 45 Floral St., Bath. From leading worship to sharing the message and even running things behind the scenes, the congregation’s kids and students will take the reins and guide everyone through a morning of worship and celebration.
“This isn’t just about giving our students a role for one day — it’s about recognizing that God is already moving powerfully in the lives of the next generation,” Senior Pastor Kevin Gray said in a prepared release. “We want our entire church family to see their passion, their faith and the hope they carry for the future of the Church.”
The service is free to attend.
