Gregg Silloway

FALMOUTH – Gregg Silloway of Oquossoc (Rangeley) and formally of Falmouth passed away peacefully on Aug. 19, 2025, He was 88.

A mechanical engineer by trade, originally from Minneapolis, Minn., he was an avid and adventurous outdoorsman, pilot, skier (downhill and cross-country), snowmobiler, mountain biker and windsurfer. Gregg also enjoyed making maple syrup, cutting wood on his wood lot and rebuilding a Model-A in his spare time. He moved to Falmouth in 1970, at the same time building a camp on Mooselookmeguntic Lake in Oquossoc he would later call home.

Gregg is survived by his daughter, Kari Silloway, and her family of Stuttgart, Germany; brother, Benton “Chip” Silloway and family; and his dear friend, Merilyn Brunton.
