Norman E. Ranger Jr.
SCARBOROUGH – Norman E. Ranger, Jr. (known as “Clipper” to family and friends), 71, of Scarborough, passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 8, 2025 at Northern Light Mercy Hospital.
Born in Portland on Sept. 20, 1953, he was the son of Norman and Beverly (Lavigne) Ranger. He graduated from Portland High School in 1971 and immediately joined the Air Force. He was a proud veteran. After his time in the service, he worked at the Portland Post Office for 30 years before retiring.
He is survived by his children, Matthew Ranger and his wife Angie, Cherilyn Ranger, and Rachael Furbush and her husband Jon. He also leaves behind three sisters; and five grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
A private burial will be held for close family on Sept. 20, 2025.
