A four-run fifth inning propelled Manassas, Virginia, to a 4-0 win over Greater Sanford in an elimination game Wednesday at the Babe Ruth World Series for 13-16-year-olds in Branson, Missouri.
Sanford was held to five hits: a double by Henry Marcotte and singles by Parker Bjorklund, Tyler Do, Max Cote and Kasey Bean.
