A Pennsylvania man was killed in a single-car crash on Interstate 295 in Bowdoinham on Sunday afternoon.
Nicholas Disy, 52, of Milford, Pennsylvania, died after his car went off the highway near mile 37 southbound and crashed into a wooded median. The car hit several trees at high speed and caught fire, the Maine State Police said.
Disy was alone in the car, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash, police said.
State police are asking anyone who saw the crash to call 207-624-7076.
