Beau Dalleo, a professional guitarist, will play familiar songs on Thursday, Aug. 14, at 6 p.m. at Graves Memorial Library in Kennebunkport. Patrons are invited to bring friends and chairs to the show and celebrate summer, the community and a fondness for talented local artists. Suggested donations of $10 per person are appreciated.

If it rains, the event will be held in the Community Room. Parking is available on Maine Street or at Village Fire Station on North Street.
New England author Meghan Perry will visit the library on Friday, Aug. 15, at 2 p.m. Perry will read from her award-winning debut novel, “Water Finds a Way.”
The novel was published by Delphinium Books and Random House Audio. The novel, according to a news release, has received numerous accolades, including a starred Kirkus Review and an IPPY Awards silver medal. It was also featured in Newsday and Conde Nast Traveler as one of the top reads for fall.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signed after the program. Additional parking is available at the fire department parking lot on North Street.
Dana Pearson, a local guitarist who plays a little bit of everything, will play the finale of the library’s Summer Concert Series on Thursday, Aug. 28. The performance is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Patrons are encouraged to bring friends and chairs for the performance. Suggested donation is $10 per person.
In the event of inclement weather, the performance will move to the Community Room. Parking is available on Maine Street or at the Village Fire Station on North Street.
