Mary K. Fillion
SCARBOROUGH – Mary K. Fillion, 84, of Scarborough and Sarasota, Fla., died after a short illness on Aug. 7, 2025, at Maine Medical Health – Malone Family Tower.
She was born on April 10, 1941, in Berlin, N.H. to Robert and Dorothy (Wilde) Wilson. She graduated from Berlin High School.
She was married to her husband Bob, who predeceased her, for 54 years before his passing in 2016.
Mary worked at Community Counseling Center in Portland starting as a receptionist, ultimately holding the position of comptroller until her retirement in 2002, where she and Bob retired to Sarasota, Fla.
Mary enjoyed golfing, playing bridge and going on monthly outings with her First Friday Floozies, her very dear friends.
Mary is survived by her children, Peter Fillion, Suzanne and Barry Salloway, Linda and John Kaczynski; grandchildren, Sara and T.Y. McGill, Emily and Michael Smith, Amy and Eric Illich, and Matthew and Sydney Salloway; great-grandchildren, Gia McGill, Remi McGill, and Halle Smith; her brother, Robert Wilson and his wife Janie.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a service to follow, on Monday, Aug. 11, at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Rd., South Portland.
