He was born in Biddeford on Oct. 9, 1947, a son of Harvey and Louise (Dutremble) Pageau. He graduated from Thornton Academy, class of 1968.

Roger served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam Era. He spent two years developing the AYA (American Youth Activities) in Germany. Receiving a commendation from the Army, he was instrumental with the programs growth as it grew from 60 to 500 children. Roger felt very fortunate and deeply appreciated this experience. He cherished the relationships he made and spoke highly of them even right up until his passing.

Roger was employed by Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for many years, retiring in 2007.

He had many interesting pastimes which included boy scout leader, camping with his boys, gardening and traveling. He also collected stamps, coins and baseball cards too. We remember him with a smile, New York Yankees hat on and a Diet Coke in hand. Most of all, Roger loved his family. He enjoyed the time spend together, especially with his two grandchildren Hadley and Sydney. He will be sadly missed.
