FREEPORT – Marie Elizabeth (Napier) Forbes, born on February 11, 1964 in Portland, Maine, lost her valiant battle with cancer on Sunday July 20, 2025 at MaineHealth Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, surrounded by loved ones. She grew up in Pownal and had a successful career in the car business, working for the last 18 years for the Key Auto Group,
culminating in her position as the General Manager of Key Ford of Rockland, Maine.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter River Bundy of Freeport, husband Jack
Forbes of Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, sister Lois (E. James) Skillings of
Brunswick, sister Barbara (Helmut) Heller of Altötting, Germany, brother Peter Callnan
(John Hennessy) of Portland and many other cherished family members and friends.
Friends and Family are invited to Celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday
August 2nd at 11am at Sacred Heart Church 326 Main Street in Yarmouth followed by a
Celebration of Life reception from 12:30 pm – 3pm at the Pownal First Parish
Congressional Church, 422 Hallowell Road, Pownal.
