James Tibbs III hit a sacrifice fly in the 12th inning to give the Portland Sea Dogs a 4-3 win over the Reading Fightin Phils on Sunday in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Ahbram Liendo, who started the top of the 12th on second base, moved to third on a bunt single by Karson Simas, and scored on Tibbs sacrifice fly.
Portland took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second on a home run by Zach Ehrhard. Reading tied it in bottom of the second on a homer by Paul McIntosh. Ronald Rosario hit a two-run home run in the top of the 11th to give the Sea Dogs a 3-1 lead, but Dylan Campbell tied it again with a two-run homer in the bottom of the inning.
Starting pitcher Connelly Early pitched 5 2/3 innings for Portland, allowing a run on three hits, while striking out six. Jeremy Wu-Yelland earned the win with 1 2/3 scoreless innings.
