Philip J. Michaud
RAYMOND – Philip J. Michaud, 59, of Raymond passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on July 15, 2025.
Phil was born Feb. 1, 1966, in Hartford, Conn. to Gilman and Betty (Rioux) Michaud. He graduated from Windham High School in 1984 and shortly after married his high school sweetheart, Julie, in 1986. They recently celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary and 46 years together.
During his younger years, Phil dabbled in multiple career opportunities. In 1995, he followed his passion and purchased a marina, naming it Panther Run Marina. He dedicated 28 years of hard work and love to the marine industry, becoming a well-respected and loved member of that community. In 2005, he pursued a dream to create the Portland Boat Show where local marinas could collaborate to display their products. He and Julie ran the show for 20 years with the help of his long-time employees and children. He was very proud of this accomplishment! He was also very proud to manage and operate two pieces of commercial properties that he owned jointly with his father.
Phil began snowmobiling in Aroostook County in the late ’90s where he grew attached to the local community. As a proud member of the Portage Lake Snowmobile Club, he and Julie loved their Portage family.
Phil loved all things fast and loud, and he lived his life the same way.
He is survived by his loving wife, Julie; daughters Alicia Michaud (Kyle Dickinson) and Marissa Michaud; parents Gilman and Betty Michaud; and sister, Jodi Federle.
There was nothing more important to Phil than the love he gave to his wife, two daughters, son-in-law, and beloved dog, Braydee. He was a dedicated family man that was incredibly proud of his family.
Visitation with his family will be held Monday, July 21, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 5 p.m. at the Dolby, Blais, & Segee Windham Chapel at 434 River Rd., Windham.
