Carol M. King
PALM BAY, Fla. – Carol M. King, 74, passed away July 3, 2025 at her Florida home.
She was born Dec. 3, 1950 to Ernest and Barbara Murray King. She grew up in Woolwich and graduated from Morse High School in 1969. She worked at the telephone company, traveled across Europe and Eastern U.S., then returned to Bath where she worked at Bath Iron Works for 27 years.
Carol will be remembered for her smile that lit up a room, her beautiful home, and spectacular gardens. She enjoyed painting, music, and cooking but, most of all, adored her family.
Carol is survived by her partner, Wayne LaRose; son, Marcel Gosselin; grandsons Caiden and Leland Gosselin; sister, Joan Reid; many nieces, nephews; cousins; and her dog, Oliver. She is also survived by Wayne’s children, Angela, Melissa, Tiffany, Michael, Cynthia, Timmy, Tommy, and Jonathan, and their families.
She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Loren, and sister, Lois.
Per her wishes, there will be no formal services.
