Susan Louise Mains
GORHAM – Susan Louise Mains, 64, of Gorham, was suddenly taken from us too soon, on July 10, 2025.
She was born in Malden, Mass. on Oct. 16, 1960 to Maurice and Geraldine Theriault. She attended school in South Portland, graduating in 1979. Sue started her life as a class clown and carried that fun loving attitude thoughout her life.
After graduating she worked for Fairchild Semi-Conductor for many years. Later, she was self-employed as a domestic engineer. She went above and beyond caring for all of her “People”. She took care of them, ensuring they were all happy and taken care of!
Though the years sue enjoyed many hobbies including pottery, camping, gardening, antiquing, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding, driving her classic “Vette”, dancing, crafting and mostly spending time with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; and a half-brother, Charles Sjoberg.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Keith A. Mains; her sons Eric (Gloria Macdougall) grandson E.J. and Abigail; son, Timothy Mains (Danielle Etter) and grandkids Miyah and Kiyan Alling; siblings Freda Estey (George), Gloria Hink (David), Maurice Theriault Jr. (Pauline), Michael Theriault (Linda), Arthur Theriault Sr. (Elaine); and many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Becky Bubar; and her large family of friends! She was “auntie Sue Sue” to everyone!
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday July 19 at 3 p.m. at 40 Joy Valley Rd. Buxton.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the
