Lorraine “Lola” Martin
OCALA, Fla. – Lorraine “Lola” Martin passed away on June 5, 2025 in Ocala, Fla.
She was born in Portland, on Aug. 23, 1926, to Alexander and Josephine (Peters) LaPierre. Lola was a longtime resident of West Gorham where she raised her family of nine children.
She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Donald LaPierre, sister, Shirley Milos; husband, Patrick; son, Patrick, and her daughter, Nancy Watts.
She is survived by her son, Michael and wife Mamie of Gorham, her son, Mark of Madison, also daughters Kathleen Young of Standish, Donna and Daniel Haskell of Standish, Margaret LaPrino of Gorham, Mary and husband Guy Laliberte of Hollis, and Ann Walsh and husband Brian of Lincoln, N.H. Lola is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; her sister, Patricia Bickford of Portland; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church on Main Street in Gorham on Monday July 14, at 1 p.m.
