Emily Ruth Charles
ENNEBUNK – Emily Ruth Charles, 66, passed peacefully on Monday, Feb. 17, 2025 under hospice care in Kennebunk.
Born on March 16, 1958 in Denver, Colo. to Virginia Stubbs Shinnamon and Harry Charles. Emily attended Binghamton University in New York and later made New England her home.
A lifelong creator, her journey on earth was one marked by love, compassion, and inner strength.
A celebration of life will be held Aug. 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bug Light Park in South Portland.
