A Gray man was found safely Monday morning, a few hours after the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office issued a silver alert, believing that he had wandered away from his house.
Police said the 79-year-old, who has cognitive issues, had last been seen at his home on Summit Road after midnight Monday.
Bekit was found safely later Monday morning, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss said at 10:30 a.m.
