Denis W. Alley, 72, of Ossipee Trail, Limington, passed away Tuesday June 24, 2025, at the Hawthorne House in Freeport.

Denis graduated from Framingham Vocational High School and opened Denis’ Auto Body shop.

He moved to Maine in 1984 and opened Lakeland Collision Center, retiring in 2020. Denis enjoyed working on and restoring cars, snowmobiling and country dancing. He enjoyed Nascar and worked with Joe Bessey in Busch North Circuit.

Denis was predeceased by his first wife, Maylene Jesseman; and a sister, Susan Alley.

Survivors include a son, Michael Alley of Hollis Center and his wife Cayla Baker Alley, two daughters, Christine Alley of Steep Falls and husband Michael Dekoning, and Gretchen Alley Chaplin of Waterboro; three brothers, Stephen Alley of Great Falls, Mont. and Colin Allen of Center Barnstead, N.H. and wife Pam Doub, and Edward Alley of Mills, Mass., a sister, Theresa Fischer of Medway, Mass.; three grandchildren, Cory, Breanna and Timothy; and longtime companion, Karen Codere of Cumberland.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, July 12, starting at 1 p.m. at 21 Ossipee Trail in Limington.
