Deborah Suzanne Lavery
GORHAM – Deborah Suzanne Lavery, 68, originally from Beverly, Mass., and long-time resident of Gorham, Maine, passed away on June 22, 2025.
Deborah was an avid photographer and explorer. Her numerous travels took her around the world, immersing herself in different cultures. She was a familiar face and staple at Portland Jetport.
She could often be found in her beautiful gardens or enjoying the sun by the ocean when she was stateside. Deb is most fondly remembered for her sense of humor—always laughing, dancing, and being silly. Her love for people, animals, and nature will never be forgotten. She was a generous soul who loved helping those in need.
She is survived by her two daughters, Meghan and Emily, her son-in-law, Daniel; her sisters Laurie and Sue, and her brother Glenn. She is now with her parents, Arlie and Mary Dash.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
