OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Scott Spencer Kittredge, 78, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away on June 22, 2025 from Advanced Parkinson’s disease.
Scott was a long-time resident of the Willard Beach area in South Portland. In 2019, he retired to Old Orchard Beach with his life partner, Ann Hall.
Scott was a graduate of South Portland High School and received his associate degree in Marine Science from SMVTI. A Vietnam Veteran, Scott served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1967-1971. After the Navy, Scott spent 60 years as a self-employed lobsterman.
He was a member of the Maine Lobstermen’s Association and the NRA
Scott is survived by his partner, Ann Hall; his sisters Patricia Powers of Cumberland and Claire Greer of Inverness, Fla., his brother, Stephen Kittredge of South Portland.
He was predeceased by his parents Elmer George Kittredge and Ruth Hazel (Gavett) Kittredge; his sisters Joan Fine and Mary Jack.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, June 28 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Rd., South Portland. Burial will immediately follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
