Allan Castro’s two-run homer in the first inning gave Portland a lead it would never relinquish.
Drew Ehrhard was a home run shy of a cycle, and Izzy Alcantara also had three hits, including a triple. Tyler Miller added two doubles.
After Caleb Bolden pitched a scoreless first inning, Wehunt took over and held Somerset to one hit through the next five innings.
