Constance “Connie” Turner
BRUNSWICK – Constance “Connie” Turner, beloved mother, grandmother, and lifelong resident of Brunswick, passed away peacefully at the age of 96. She was born in Brunswick in 1929 to Ogliber and Isabel Biette.
Connie held a special love for her hometown, especially the Mere Point area where she was raised and cherished many fond memories.
Connie loved to ride her Morgan horse “BG” and when she no longer was able to ride she enjoyed going to the barn and helping out with daily chores. To fill her days after her husband passed Connie enjoyed making puzzles, knitting and rarely missed a Red Sox game on TV.
Connie lived a full and meaningful life, touching the hearts of all who knew her with her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit. She dedicated herself to her family and enjoyed family gatherings.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Choate and her husband Peter Choate; along with three grandchildren, Sarah Greenlaw and her husband Steve, Brian Choate and his wife Jess, and Amanda McGovern and her husband Taylor; and four great-grandchildren. Connie has several nieces and nephews in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Connie was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Robert Turner, and brother, Paul Biette.
In honoring Connie’s wishes, there will be no services. A family graveside service will be held.
