The University of Maine at Augusta awarded York County Commissioner Justin Chenette with a Distinguished Alumni Award during its 2025 commencement ceremony, held May 10 at the Augusta Civic Center. Chenette was nominated by the UMaine-Augusta Saco Center for his public service and was a 2021 graduate in UMA’s public administration post-baccalaureate program.
