The Brick Store Museum will host a hands-on, family-friendly event on Saturday, June 21, from noon to 1:30 p.m. as the museum unveils a brand-new LEGO model of the museum. The model was crafted by Maine LEGO artist Colby Adolphsen.

The museum invites builders of all ages to get creative and explore the art of LEGO at the free event. Multiple building stations will be available for visitors to construct their own imaginative structures and environments. Adolphsen will help build and talk with visitors about the art of LEGO building.
According to a news release, “Adolphsen’s incredible LEGO creations will also be featured in the museum’s upcoming exhibition, Brick by Brick: The Art of LEGO, opening on Aug. 2.”
The event is sponsored by Tracey Bricker, State Farm Agency. Admission is free, but RSVP is encouraged. To RSVP. visit www.brickstoremuseum.org/calendar.
LEGO enthusiasts are encouraged to display their favorite works at the museum’s Aug. 16 Southern Maine Steampunk Fest, which will feature a one-day-only showcase of LEGO builds by local fans. For more information, visit www.brickstoremuseum.org/steampunkfest.
