The Wells-Ogunquit community school district budget, representing a 2.73% increase over the prior budget, passed by a margin of 1,376 votes.

The budget passed in Wells by a margin of 1,119 votes and in Ogunquit by a margin of 257 votes.

Voters in the two communities also chose to continue to vote on the budget for the next three years.

Wells voters chose Avery Seuter (933 votes) and John Macleod III (900 votes) as their two new selectmen. Scott DeFelice received 857 votes, and Mark Bagdasarian finished with 587 votes.

Justin Batchelder (1,026 votes) and Andre Brosseau (697 votes) won the two seats for Wells Sanitary District Trustee. Paul Baratta received 675 votes.

An ordinance to allow cannabis stores in Wells’ general business district failed by a margin of 462 votes.
