Voters in Waterboro voted to appropriate $200,000 for contract deputies in 2026 by a margin of 433 votes, despite recommendations against passing it from the Board of Selectmen and Budget Committee.
Adam Tanguay won against Thomas Lee by a margin of 198 votes for a 3-year term on the Regional School Unit 57 board of directors.
David Chauvette and Dennis Abbott secured their two seats on town council, and Deanna Vigliotta secured her 1-year term on the RSU 57 board of directors after running uncontested.
