The Kennebunks have Pride and it will be on display from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, at the fourth annual Pride in the Bunks event in Kennebunkport.
According to a news release from the Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Arundel Chamber of Commerce, the event will be hosted at the South Congregational Church Community House on Temple Street and will feature DJ Jodi, Queens Puddin’, Summer Raine, Holly Daze and Mother Moon. The event will also include free pizza donated by Roma Pizza, Domino’s, Kennebunk House of Pizza, Amato’s and Arundel House of Pizza. In addition, drinks will be supplied by Hannaford, candy from the Sugar Shack and a sundae bar donated by Ben & Jerry’s.
There will be face painting, a raffle of gift certificates donated by local businesses and more, plus educational tables by groups such as Equality Maine, the Equality Community Center, Maine TransNet and more. This year, there will be a free shuttle, courtesy of Ride Maine, that will transport people to and from the free parking in the North Street parking lot.
