Thomas Patrick Winger
FALMOUTH – Thomas Patrick Winger, 33, of Falmouth, and San Francisco, Calif., passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2025. Born on June 5, 1991 to Holly and Lawrence C. Winger; Tommy lived a happy, productive and meaningful life. To know Tommy was to love him. No words can capture the gifts of Tommy’s presence and companionship, or the depth to which his absence will now be felt. Educated at Falmouth Public Schools and Yale College, he graduated with a geology degree in 2013. Tommy was an accomplished track athlete in high school and college. He moved to California in 2014, where he became a licensed professional geologist and a manager for environmental projects at Ramboll Inc. in San Francisco. His Ramboll colleagues have shared wonderful tributes to his leadership, humor and commitment to their success; only confirming the magnitude of our loss.
Tommy is survived by his parents, his older brother Charlie and sister-in-law Rebecca and his two beloved nieces. He leaves behind uncles, Bill and Kerry Donovan, Doug Arbo, and countless friends, colleagues and kindred spirits that share a love for being outside. He was preceded in death by grandparents Bill and Pat Donovan and Harry and Arlene Winger.
