Nanone Jean (Crapser) Knight
PORTLAND – Nanone Jean (Crapser) Knight, 77, of Westbrook died on Saturday May 31, 2025, at Maine Medical Center. Nanone was born in Newport, RI on Oct. 7, 1947, the daughter of Marie Lois Jean and Thaddeus Charles Crapser II.
Nanone graduated from Windham High School in 1965. She Attended hairdressing school and was a special hairdresser to many family and friends over the years. She sold Avon for over 40 years and was also a business owner and Accountant.
On Nov. 4, 1983, she married Richmond H. Knight.
Nanone is survived by her children, Mark A. Ward and his wife Anita, Lisa Maguire and her husband Mark, and Lori Ibarguen and her husband Craig; grandchildren, Hunter Ward, Jake Ward and his wife Jenna, Brandon Ward, Kelly Maguire, Anthony Maguire and his fiancé Abby, Casey Doehler and her husband Nate, Sophia Ibarguen, Brett Ward and his wife Samantha, Brian Dickey and his wife Ashley Solak; great grandchildren, Malcolm, Calvin and Landon Ward, Aubrey Carmicheal, and Amelia Moran; special nieces Kaitlyn Nigro and husband Mitch, Tiffany Diamantos and husband Matt, Michelle Hyland and husband Chuck, Melissa Moreau; grand nieces and nephews, Kathryne and Daniel Nigro, Kyle Dylan and Ryan Diamantos, Ross Grace and Chadd Hyland; special cousins, Sylvia Santos and Debra Lee. She was predeceased by her husband Richmond H Knight, two sisters Gayle Micheletti, Hale Moreau and her husband Larry.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a memorial service at 11:30, on Saturday June 7, 2025, at Dolby Blais & Segee, 35 Church Street, Westbrook. A Celebration of Life will follow at The Elks, 1945 Congress Street, Portland. Burial will take place at 10 a.m., on Monday June 9, 2025, at St Hyacinth’s Cemetery, 296 Stroud Water Street, Westbrook.
