Ernest Lawrence “Larry” Weeman

CLERMONT, Fla. – “Larry” Weeman, 67, passed away on May 18, 2025 in Clermont, Fla. Larry will be remembered for his dedication to family and friends, his interest in technology, and his entrepreneurial spirit.

Born on March 23, 1958, in Ellsworth, Maine to Navy Captain Richard Weeman and Margaret Darling, Larry spent his early childhood living abroad in Germany, Scotland, and Turkey. After returning to Maine and attending Gorham High School, he worked as a cook at his parents’ restaurant. He met Sharon McCrory in Old Orchard Beach, and the two married on Dec. 30, 1978, in Westbrook. They were married for 46 years, raising their kids in Maine before relocating to Arizona to be near their grandkids. Upon retirement, they moved to Clermont, Fla.

Larry studied Computer Science and Business at Southern Maine Technical College and the University of Southern Maine. He spent many successful years working at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield before his retirement. In 1994, he founded Party Track, an event rental software company that recently celebrated 30 years in business. His hard work and innovation helped build a thriving family business — a legacy that he passes along to his children.

Larry is survived by his wife, Sharon; his children, Christopher Weeman of Las Vegas, Nev., Megan Tenney and her husband Daniel of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Mallory Connell and her husband Kevin of Toronto, Canada; and his grandchildren, Carter, Vanessa, Harrison, and Melody Tenney.

Larry could often be found enjoying a round of blackjack or golf. He also loved playing poker with friends and board games with his kids and grandkids. He had a love of movies, music, travel, great food, and collecting the latest tech gadgets.

A celebration of his life will be held by his family at a later date. Larry’s family asks that you honor his memory by spending time with your loved ones, sharing a good meal, or playing a favorite game together.
