DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Robert H. Larkin II, 66, passed away on March 19, 2025, at his home in Daytona Beach, Fla. after a long illness.
Robert was born on Nov. 14, 1958, in Shreveport, La., son of Robert H. and Shirley M. Larkin. During Robert’s childhood, he lived in Louisiana, Illinois, California, and Maine. During adulthood, he lived in Maine, Hawaii, and Florida.
Robert had many interests. Robert enjoyed listening to classic rock music and attended many concerts. Robert was an avid sports fan. He attended three Super Bowls and two World Series games. Robert enjoyed cooking and hosting many holiday dinners, lobster feasts and BBQs. Honolulu was Robert’s favorite place to vacation, where he also lived for two years.
His parents predeceased him. He is survived by his sister, Mary Tinsman (Larry) of Florida, his brother, Philip Larkin (Nicole) of Rhode Island; several nieces, nephews; and cousins.
There will be a private celebration of life. Robert will be missed by those who loved and knew him.
