Lately, our great city has had a rash of bad news regarding our unhoused population loitering and causing havoc at great restaurants like David’s or leaving trash that makes our city look dirty. Recently the Maine Art Museum is having second thoughts about enlarging now that it has the Children’s Museum because of the deterioration of Congress Square, etc.
I want to thank our mayor, Mark Dion, for removing the throngs of people who settled in Portland. Mayor Dion is working tirelessly to make our city better. I’m suggesting we let the music hall build its beautiful theater next to Merrill Auditorium and make our city shine again. Live Nation has a history of success everywhere it goes, and our city needs success.
