
The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office is asking for assistance with the investigation of a suspicious fire at the May Street Recreation Facility in Biddeford that was reported on Saturday morning.
On Saturday at approximately 8:45 a.m., the Biddeford Fire Department and Biddeford Police Department responded to 130 May St. following a report of a previously extinguished fire in the ballfield’s bathroom, said the Biddeford Fire Department in a news release on Facebook. The incident was called in by the Biddeford Recreation Department’s administration.
Due to the suspicious nature of the fire, the Fire Marshal’s Office is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
