The Brick Store Museum invites the community to honor and remember local veterans during “Paths of Courage: A Veteran Stories Tour” on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 17. The tour starts starting at 11 a.m. in Hope Cemetery in Kennebunk.

According to a news release, “the guided walking tour through Hope Cemetery will feature eight stops, each marked with a poppy, where visitors will hear the powerful stories of veterans from Kennebunk who served in various wars and now rest in the cemetery. Tour guides will lead participants on this journey of hope, courage, and sacrifice, bringing history to life through personal accounts of service and remembrance.”
Tours will run every 15 minutes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the last tour departing at 1:45 p.m.
Tickets for the tour are $15 for general admission, $10 for museum members, and free for military veterans. Proceeds support the Brick Store Museum and American Legion Post 74 in Kennebunk.
Veterans receive a free ticket (when registering for a tour time). The museum invites participants to join a walk in tribute to those who served.
