Portland Press Herald Managing Director, Stefanie Manning, teamed up with Jennifer Hutchins, Executive Director of the Maine Association of  Nonprofits, to challenge their peers to a Spelling Bee that raised money for the winner’s chosen nonprofit or charity.

After an incredible 14 rounds of competitive spelling, Hannah Chatalbash took home the title of Spelling Bee Champion with the winning word: Catalina. Representing the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program, Hannah showcased not only spelling skills but also a deep commitment to our community.
