If you love cider, CiderFeast is a can’t-miss event at Oxbow Blending & Bottling in Portland on May 11.

The Mother’s Day festival features more than 15 cideries and producers serving palate-pleasing hard cider samples.

Eleanor Leger from Eden Ciders in West Charleston, Vermont will be among those serving at CiderFeast.

There will also be food trucks on site, and specialty hot sauces available from Sauce King in New York City.

Along with samples, full pours will be available for purchase should you discover a cider you really love.

CiderFeast tickets are $35. This includes all tastings and a souvenir glass. T-shirts designed by local artist Mark Reusch can be ordered for $15, or get one at the festival for $20. Head to ciderfeasthq.com.

BIRDS OF A FEATHER

The Black Crowes take the stage at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on July 29.

It will be a righteous Tuesday night during the heart of summer as brothers Chris and Rich Robinson and the rest of the band play hits like “She Talks to Angels,” “Hard to Handle” and “Jealous Again.” Some might argue that the rock band’s heyday was the ’90s, but they’ll prove you wrong. The Black Crowes, after a 15-year hiatus of recording new music, released the well-reviewed “Happiness Bastards” last year.

Tickets are $42-$211.25. Get them at waterfrontconcerts.com.
