Matt Miller’s second goal of the game broke a 1-1 tie in the third period, and the Reading Royals earned a 4-1 win over the Maine Mariners in an ECHL game Friday night at Reading, Pennsylvania.
Xander Lamppa gave Maine a 1-0 lead late in the first period. Miller tied it early in the second, then got the go-ahead goal at 4:54 of the third.
Jake Smith and Logan Britt each added an empty-net goal.
