Incorrect information was provided in the March 21 edition of the Scarborough Leader for the page 1 article “Piping plovers arrive early in Scarborough, continuing trend.” The current town ordinance for dogs on the beach between May 15 and Labor Day permits dogs to be off leash under owner control before 9 a.m.
