Dorothy E. Atherton
WINDHAM – Dorothy E. Atherton, 86, of Windham, Maine, died peacefully at home on March 9, 2025, after years of battling Multiple Sclerosis. She was surrounded by her family.
Aside from her family, perhaps the thing she loved most was Nursing. She graduated second in her class from the old Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1959. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Roger of Windham; daughter Kristine of Windham, son Donald of Windham; brothers Robert and William from Standish; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Dorothy will be held at the Dolby Blais Segee Funeral Home 434 River Road, Windham on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. To share memories and condolences with the family please go to http://www.dolbyblaissegee.com.
