Margaret M. “Peg” Larson
WELLS – Margaret M. “Peg” Larson, 83, of Wells, passed away Nov. 2, 2024, at her home.
Born on Sept. 25, 1941, in Boston, she was a daughter of David L. and Gertrude V. (Maloney) Boucher. Following her graduation from the Massachusetts Memorial Hospitals School of Nursing in 1962, Peg married the love of her life Rudolph H. “Skip” Larson in 1965 and together by each other’s side raised their three children.
Peg spent a career spanning over four decades caring for people as a registered nurse until her retirement from Goodall Hospital in 2008. She spent her retirement years enjoying her dogs and cats, spending time with family and friends, working outside in her yard, and watching sports on TV.
Peg was predeceased by her husband Rudolph H. “Skip” Larson in 2020 with whom she shared countless cherished memories and to whom she was married for 55 years; her sister Elizabeth Splane and her brother Robert Boucher.
She is survived by her two sons, Keith Larson and wife Laura of Brunswick; Erik Larson and wife Laura of Dunbarton, N.H.; her daughter, Donna Neer and husband Warren of Sanford; her granddaughter Hannah Neer of Sanford; and her three grandsons – Brady Larson of Brunswick; Alex Larson of Amherst, N.H.; Cody Larson of Brunswick; and many nieces and nephews.
Private memorial services are being held at Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Springvale, and a celebration of life will be held at a future date.
