Kennebunkport Fire Rescue had been busy since 6 a.m. Nov. 5 when it opened as the official polling location for the town.
Voters were greeted with a smile and a handshake from candidates before entering the building to cast their votes.
Kim Corrigan, 55, voted with her son on Election Day.
“It’s our right as citizens to vote,” Corrigan told the Post.
Corrigan did not share who she voted for, but said that she believes the country is at a crossroads.
“It’s important to have your voice heard,” Corrigan said.
