Veterans Day lunch
A free Veterans Day luncheon will be held at American Legion Post 86, at 15 Lewiston Road, from noon until 1:30 p.m. All veterans can attend and bring one guest. New hire for town
Denise M. Clavette has been recommended by Town Manager Michael Foley to be Gray’s new economic development director. Her appointment is scheduled during the Nov. 12 Town Council meeting, and she is to begin work the following day.
Hunting for the Hungry
For those who like to hunt but don’t want to keep their kill, contact Hunters for the Hungry at maine.gov/dacf/h4h. The state will pay for the processing if the meat goes to a food pantry. For processors, try Sabattus Deer Processing Greg Provost, 375-4581, or Dana Masters in Bridgton, 647-2746.

Thanksgiving meals
Residents of Gray and New Gloucester in need of a Thanksgiving meal can do so through G-NG Community Caring. For more information and to fill out an application, go to tinyurl.com/yz3a3rwa.
