Marilyn Dawn Trynor
GOLDEN VALLEY, Ariz. – Marilyn Dawn Trynor, beloved mother to Charles R. Trynor IV and Kathleen D. Trynor, passed away peacefully at home in Golden Valley, Ariz. on Oct. 25, 2024.
Marilyn was born in Brockton, Mass. on Oct. 27, 1938 to Edmond J. Pelletier and Christina E. Griffin. The family moved to Portland in early 1940s seeking work and was eventually split up when her father left.
She and her younger sister were raised in foster care by Wallace and Ester Smith of Hollis Center. Marilyn graduated from Hollis Center High School on June 14, 1957 and married Charles R. III on June 15, 1957.
Marilyn enjoyed travel throughout the USA. She lived in Spain, Jamaica and the Philippines. She spent time in Egypt, enjoying a trip up the Nile River from Alexandria to Luxor with Jenny, her mother-in-law. Discovering later on about her Copic Egyptian bloodline!
Settling in Arizona, Marilyn enjoyed the warm winter sunshine! She loved her gardening and entertaining neighbors and friends.
Thanks and gratitude to all those assisting and praying for Marilyn’s comfort and peace. She will be missed.
