Trump said “only suckers went to Vietnam.”
I served in Vietnam. My first deployment to Danang was May 1968 and my last ended September 1970. In Trump’s terms, I am a sucker. I wear that slur with pride. The only way a veteran can be a true sucker is if he or she votes for this despicable man.
And our military should be very careful. Trump also said that he wanted “the kind of generals that Hitler had.” What he was really saying is that he wants “his” generals to do whatever he tells them to do, just like Hitler.
Please, veterans, don’t vote for this anti-veteran, anti-American traitor.
