I encourage voters to check the records. Anne Graham has written 12 substantive bills with Republican representatives, nine became law. She sponsored/co-sponsored 61 bills in the last session. After 16 years in Augusta, where is the bipartisan work on substantive bills from her opponent? Instead, the voting records demonstrate a guaranteed GOP vote on bills. Graham will work with anyone to develop the best solutions for the people of her district. Unlike the barrage of negative material against her indicating she has done nothing, Graham has worked to expand access to affordable housing, reduce taxes on working families and hold corporate price gougers accountable. She attends local meetings and talks with local leaders and constituents to better understand the challenges facing her communities. She has been and will remain a strong advocate for women’s rights. Let’s reelect her.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
