I have known Christina Mitchell and her family for 15 years and am pleased to support her candidacy for state representative. She is a bright, energetic, common-sense leader who works well with others in developing compromised solutions. Her experience as an educator and school board member positions her well for understanding what is needed to train young people for the jobs of the future.

As an infantry Vietnam veteran, I agree with Mitchell’s position on establishing reasonable gun laws in Maine. Our leaders are spending too much time looking for someone to blame when mass shootings occur, and too little time doing something positive to create change. Mitchell will work toward background checks and waiting periods, simple ideas that are long overdue.

Mitchell is focused on other key issues that affect us all, such as climate change, housing costs and creating opportunities for families. Please join me in voting for Christina Mitchell.
