Charlene Louise Thuotte
WESTBROOK – Charlene Louise Thuotte, 94, of Westbrook, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024.
Charlene was born in Auburn on Sep. 12, 1930, to Hazel (DeCoster) and John Devoe. She grew up in Auburn and graduated from Edward Little High School.
In 1959, she married Robert Thuotte, moved to Westbrook, and raised three children. Charlene enjoyed playing tennis, skiing, and playing bridge when she was younger. She also enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Charlene was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and best friend. She was kind, caring, loving, and full of fun. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Charlene was predeceased by her husband, Robertl, her mother, Hazel, her father, John; her sisters Doris, Millie, and Ruth.
She is survived by her three children, Michael Thuotte, Stephen Thuotte, daughter, Susan Thuotte; four grandchildren, Marc Thuotte, Brian Thuotte, Karen Thuotte, and Jake Farrell; daughter-in-law, Cindy Thuotte; and five great-granddaughters.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Hospice of Southern Maine for the care given to Charlene.
Visiting hours will be held 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday Oct. 10 at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 35 Church St., Westbrook. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
