Jane (Mills) Boynton
SALISBURY, Mass. – Jane Mills Boynton died peacefully on Sept. 26, 2024 at her home in Salisbury, Mass.
The daughter of George Stewart Mills and Anita Montrose Mills, she was born March 9, 1945 and attended schools in Boonton, N.J. Jane graduated an RN from the Muhlenburg School of Nursing. A Psychiatric Nurse, she began her career as head of the Children’s Unit in Greystone State Park Mental Institution, Morris Plains, N.J. It was there she met, John, her husband to be. Towing a family of five, Jane achieved Summa Cum Laude, a B.A. from Upsala College in 1990.
Jane is survived by her husband of 57 years; her brother, Andrew; her children, Jennifer, Emily, Sarah, and David; and four grandchildren, Laura, Liam, Janie, and Finneas.
Throughout her life, Jane gave generously of her care and enduring love for family, friends, and patients.
A private family service will be held next spring in her hometown.
Arrangements were by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Ave., Amesbury, MA 01913.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
Parker River NWR, Newburyport, Mass., or Doctors Without Borders, causes reflecting Jane’s concern for our world’s turbulent times.
