Ronald Packard Stephens
YARMOUTH – Ronald Packard Stephens, 74, of Yarmouth, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on July 15, 2024.
He was born in Lewiston. Ron graduated from Edward Little High School in 1967 and subsequently from the University of Maine at Orono in 1971.
After serving in the Maine Army National Guard as a 1st Lieutenant, he became an executive working at Merrill Lynch and later UBS and TD Bank, retiring in 2007.
Ron is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jane; sons Patrick and Michael, daughter-in-law, Ashley; grandsons Cooper and Parker, whom he adored; brother, Gregory Stephens, sister-in-law, Adele Stephens, brother, Charles Stephens; and his dog, Beau.
He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Priscilla Stephens; and his pugs Gus and Ruby.
His passions included his family, antique cars, boating on Sebago Lake, skiing and his beloved dogs.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Northern Light Home Care and Hospice for providing Ron with compassionate care and honoring his dignity in his final days.
